Product Review - Eden Body Works Peppermint Tea Tree Shampoo

Hello Lovelies!!!!

I am bringing another product review to you ladies because I know yall want to hear good things to encourage you to buy! LOL!

Back in August, I won a giveaway (I think it was my very first giveaway win ever, actually). It was an AWESOME giveaway: full-size products of the entire Eden Body Works haircare line. (CRAY-I Know). When I saw my name on the winner page...I kind of like..just ...stared for a moment. THEN I jumped up and down like 100 times (blame the PJ inside).

Anywhoo, I received the package fairly quickly, I would say 4-5 days. I eventually tried all of the products (at least 2-3 times) and am ready to provide a review of all of them :-) They will be in seperate posts to not have a 10 page report on one post. Enjoy!

Price: $8.50 /8oz Bottle via Eden Body Works

IANBG Review:
The smell is not my usual favorite. If you like pepperminty smells, this would be all you. However, since ALL of the products contained the same smell, I was o.k. with it. And to be honest, I have actually grown fond of the smell, possibly due to the effects that come with it.

This. stuff. is. the. BOMB(dot)COM. I loveeeeeee it! This will probably become my staple shampoo. Prior to using this shampoo, I had been using the Shea Moisture's Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo (review coming soon!), however since I had won this, I decided to go ahead and try it. SO glad I did! The moisture level isn't as high as the Shea Moisture shampoo, BUT, I LOVE the lather, and my hair still doesn't feel stripped at all. (It's just that the Shea Moisture Shampoo feels more like a conditioner than a's crazy) It feels like a shampoo, my hair feels clean, yet moisturized as well.

Another thing that I like about this shampoo is that no matter how much I squeeze out of one pump, it seems as if I only used a little because the level doesn't move much at all. I probably use about 10 good squeezes for one shampoo session. I have washed my hair 3 times using this shampoo and still have a little under 3/4 of the bottle left. The Shea Moisture liquid is thicker, probably the culprit in my losing its amount faster. The consistency of this shampoo is closer to that of a carrier oil like olive oil.

Overall, this shampoo was a win, and I will be purchasing it again!
